Under the full supervision of Uni-President, the Company never used “pickled cabbage in pits” exposed at the 315 Gala hosted by China Central Television. Hunan Chaqi Vegetable Industry Co., Ltd.(湖南插旗菜業有限公司), Yueyang Yayuan Pickle Food Factory (岳陽市雅園醬菜食品廠) and Tan Tan Qiao Food Co., Ltd.(壇壇俏食品有限公司) mentioned at the 315 Gala hosted by China Central Television are absolutely not our suppliers.The Company’s supplier only pertains to Hunan Jinrui Food Co., Ltd.(湖南錦瑞食品有限公司).

Upon overnight investigation of Hunan Jinrui Food Co., Ltd.(湖南錦瑞食品有限公司), we hereby confirm that the raw materials that used to produce pickled cabbage packets of Uni-President are pickled at our own pickled cabbage factories for our own use, and we never used “pickled cabbage in pits” exposed at the 315 Gala hosted by China Central Television.

Hunan Jinrui Food Co., Ltd. (湖南錦瑞食品有限公司) (hereafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”) undertakes that all raw materials that used to produce pickled cabbage packet products of Uni-President are pickled at our own epoxy pickled pools. Under the supervision of Uni-President Group, there is no possibility of using any cabbages pickled at pits to produce the pickled cabbage packets of Uni-President. The “pits” exposed at the 315 Gala hosted by China Central Television were rented by a food company from us. We have never shared raw materials for the pickled cabbage packet products that we produced for Uni-President or have any business connections in relation to finished products with the company.

We guarantee the truth of the above statements and all legal liabilities arising therefrom shall be borne by us.
